EDUCATION

Based in Shanghai, one of the world's fashion capitals, DHU promotes digital and sustainable design concepts in fashion design education, integrates future design trends into curriculum, blending technology and creativity to stay ahead. Both Chinese-taught and English-taught programs offered for international students, focusing on enhancing student’s global perspective, cultivating interdisciplinary design thinking, and developing practical skills and problem-solving abilities.

INTEGRATION

Based on the traditional textile and garment disciplines, DHU has built a cultivation system of apparel engineering and artistic design disciplines in line with the whole process of the fashion industry chain, combined its advantages in academics and other resources with the needs of the development of the enterprises and the society, providing students with a wider range of internship platforms and employment opportunities.

COMMUNICATION

Media is the promoter of fashion and an important link in the fashion industry chain, which DHU has developed its comprehensive study fields such as design, art, industry, management and communication. DHU’s degree programs featuring new media communication and fashion communication focus on cultivating students' spirit of fashion exploration and expression in multiple areas in urban fashion and life style to help the development strategy of building the City of Fashion and the City of Design.
